RedLaser product barcode scanners and price comparison iPhone app

This app RedLaser is free for a while. It's impossibly accurate barcode scanning, the best barcode scanners on the market. RedLaser uses iPhone's camera to scan barcode and compare prices from Amazon, Google products and local shops. Say you are shopping for a video game, or even a car seat. You cna stop by at any local store, launch RedLaser, and scan the item's barcode. In seconds, RedLaser display the item description, pictures and a list of online merchants and local stores and their prices for the product. You can even try to price match with the local store you are in by showing the prices in the app. I also find the app is very useful as a note taking. Using RedLaser with iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4 works almost perfectly, taking a barcode almost immediately even when the barcode isn't lined up perfectly. On older iPhone, due to first generation of iPhone's camera, the result is worst but still working fine if you aim your camera right.

Be aware that some store employees may not like you scan or take a picture in their store. So you may be asked to leave though I never actually see or know any case. The latest news is that eBay just bought the app. So the app now may be more biased to eBay listings.
