HTC Phone Named by Jobs Has 35-Times Less Complaints Than iPhone

July 19 (Bloomberg) -- HTC Corp. said one of its phones named by the Apple Inc. as having antenna signal problems received 35-times less complaints than for the iPhone 4.

Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs on July 16 offered a free case to buyers of its iPhone 4 and said "every smartphone" has signal problems when held in certain ways, listing rival devices including HTC's Droid Eris.
